I represent a corporation that wishes to initiate building a patent portfolio to protect our technology. I've read and understood your process, and I want to go to the next level. What do I do?
- Go to Contact Information on this Website. Let us know by Fax, e-mail, telephone call or snail mail that you would like a conference. We will arrange to meet with you, during which we will, if we both agree to proceed:
- Answer any lingering questions
- Agree on a set of guidelines for us both in the process, the guidelines formulated to eliminate, as much as possible, unnecessary tasks in the process
- Define a scope for the project, in terms of number of applications and time
- Negotiate a fixed price for your patent applications and related services, which may, at your discretion, include a stock plan in lieu of some cash costs
- Take initial information for your disclosures and start the process
- Have you sign a non disclosure agreement, letter of understanding and fee agreement
